What are the differences between Creative DRAWings® and DRAWings® Pro?
- In Creative DRAWings®, stitch parameters including stitch compensation, density, underlay,
length, etc are disabled. To change these parameters you select a different fabric and the DRAWstitch® Technology
will automatically recalculate the entire design. In DRAWings® Pro, all parameters are available for all stitch objects.
This is one major difference that makes Creative DRAWings® so easy to use and learn, especially for
the hobbyist or trainee. It means you can immediately create beautiful embroidery without needing to know
all the technical stuff.
- When you create a new design in DRAWings® Pro you have the option to use Corel Draw® or any other OLE
based professional graphics program. Of course the DRAWings® graphics are always available and many experienced
graphics people soon realise that the DRAWings® graphics is very powerful and easy, but also has been designed
specifically to make the creation of embroidery designs a breeze. If you like, you could create a design using
your favourite graphics program, then simply copy and paste to either Creative DRAWings® or DRAWings® Pro. So
the choice is yours. It’s refreshing to have such flexibility.
- Wings Modular® professional stitch editor (Basic version)is included
with both Creative DRAWings® and DRAWings® Pro. For more information regarding Wings Modular see
www.wingsmodular.com.
Additionally, any of the Wings Modular® options can be
added on at any time so your tools can grow with your needs. Again, it’s nice to have such a flexible approach.
- Price. DRAWings® Pro costs more. The upgrade price from Creative DRAWings® or DRAWings® Pro is the
difference. There is no loading. So the growth or upgrade pathe is very friendly and cost effective. If you are
not sure what is best for you – start with Creative DRAWings®. You won’t be “price penalised” but you will
be surprised by the performance for the price.
