What are the differences between Creative Wings® modular basic version 4 and 5?
The main differences between version 4 and version 5 of Wings Modular Basic are:
- In Version 5 you can apply any special function you wish in any stitch of the design no matter if it is a stitch
object (only stitch information) or outline object (the stitches are re-calculated in every operation). Also you can
select multiple stitches and apply the special function.
- In 3D preview, in version 5 you have the ability not only to see the 3D preview with twisted stitches but also
to be able to make modifications like stitch editing.
- We have added the ability to export a design in 3D-look bitmap file based on the new more realistic preview.
- We have added more information in the Design information option.
- We are using new Docking Toolbars.
- The Sequence Manager shows Backdrops Icons as well.
- Set light source & intensity.
- New 3D realistic Fabrics.
- Faster re-draw on the screen.
- We added Transparent rulers.
- Diagonal guidelines that you can rotate with the mouse and circle guidelines that you can change their size
and position with the mouse.
- Guide lines can be locked.
- Slow Redraw with simulate machine speed, modify speed, Permits move frame or move head, Photorealistic presser
foot representation in 3D Preview.
- Right click menu can be used in multiple selections. With way you do not have to select the objects you wish
and then search in the menu of the option you wish to call. They are all on the right click menu.
- New stitch file formats were added.
- Customizable tool color schemes. Adjust the tool colors according your preferences.
- Fully customizable workspace according your preferences. You can reposition the toolbars and dockable rollups
by click and dragging them. Also at the end of each toolbar you have some options that allow you to select which
tools you want to view.
- New fabrics have been added in different groups.
- Customize the color and the thickness of all inserted outlines. This option is available at
Tools > Options > Colors tab.
- View your designs easier by using the Auto Pan functionality of the middle mouse click. While you are working
in the design area you can use the middle click (click the roller in) and switch to mouse pan mode. Left click
to end panning.
